Campus Faith Organizations
The following is an unofficial listing of student and community faith organizations with relationships with the UC Berkeley campus.

Resources and Interfaith Organizations

  • Religion, Politics, and Globalization Program: IAI's parent organization, RPGP promotes multidisciplinary research and provides programming on the themes of religion, politics and globalization. Their website has current event listings and a set of resourceful links on religion.
  • BeliefNet: A wealth of knowledge and resources on faith and religion.
  • Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC): Interfaith organization working to young people together and empower interfaith service projects. A wealth of information and resources creating interfatih communities.
  • United Religions Initiative: Global organization promoting enduring, daily interfaith cooperation and working to end religiously motivated violence. Links page offers a comprehensive set of interfaith resources.

Planning an Event or Program?
If you are planning an interfaith or faith-based event or program, we would love to help. Here are a couple links to campus resources, but please contact us with any questions or ideas.

  • Campus Life & Leadership: A prerequisite to ASUC sponsorship, campus organizations registered through CLL can use campus rooms and facilities for programs and have access to CLL's many resources for student groups.
  • ASUC Sponsorship & Funding: Registered student groups can receive annual regular funding through ASUC sponsorship.
  • ASUC Grants: Individuals and Student Groups can apply for any of six grants of up to $500 for staging events, establishing programs, and travelling to conferences.
  • Student Opportunity Fund: Chancellor's fund to support programs that foster a greater sense of campus community and that are conducive to free intellectual exchange. Students can apply for grants of up to $2000.
  • Bears Breaking Boundaries Contest: Grants of up to $5000 for outstanding and innovative ideas awarded through a competitive contest each Spring. The IAI's initial funding was from Bears Breaking Boundaries.

Interfaith Fellowships and Positions
Below is an unofficial listing of fellowships and positions available to those working on Interfaith issues.

  • Interfaith Youth Core Fellows: Open to undergraduate student leaders from diverse faith and moral traditions who are committed to interfaith action on campuses across the country. IFYC Fellows receive year-long stipends to support interfaith organizing work on their college campus, skill-based trainings on how to be an effective interfaith organizer, resources and tools to enhance interfaith work, media opportunities, a network of peer colleagues, and mentors in the interfaith movement.
